"Fun In The Sun" as VR2002 Arrives in Puerto Rico
MaxFlight Roller Coaster Sim in Plaza Del Sol Mall

MaxFlight Corporation has announced the placement of their hugely popular Virtual Reality Roller Coaster Simulator, the VR2002, at the Plaza Del Sol Mall in Bayamon, a suburb of San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Situated in front of the 7,000 sq. foot Stop-n-Play Family Entertainment Center, the VR2002 should generate the same crowd-drawing, jaw-dropping wonder that has marked MaxFlight’s success worldwide. The Plaza Del Sol Mall sits in the most populous part of Puerto Rico.

Frank LaVecchia, President of Tropical Vending, Stop-n-Play’s owner, purchased the ride as a high-impact yet compact attraction, to anchor their wide array of the latest in video and redemption games. "We wanted the latest technology and something new to generate excitement," says LaVecchia, "we realize we can’t live off video games alone."

The VR2002 is a customer programmable full-action VR thrill ride with 360-degree motion in two directions. Passengers select their own roller coaster course, piece by piece, through an awesome futuristic space asteroid then strap in, get lifted 12 feet into the air, and do all the flips, plunges, loops and rolls they see before them on a huge 58" screen. Rides can be created from mild to wild, matching desired levels of thrill.

"We are delighted to be in Puerto Rico", says Frank McClintic, president and CEO of MaxFlight. "Just like owners enjoying their customer’s reactions, we get a kick out of new markets discovering the one-of-a-kind thrill our simulators offer. The response is always overwhelming."

MaxFlight (http://www.maxflight.com), a Lakewood, New Jersey-based corporation with products placed around the planet, is a privately held company. MaxFlight Corporation designs, manufactures and sells Interactive Ride Systems for the entertainment industry.
