Fun Planet Brings the Latest
Amusement Technology to Egypt
Newest MaxFlight Sim Anchors on the Banks of the Nile
Cairo is the latest world city to experience a world class MaxFlight simulator. Fun Planet opened its doors in June, and Egypt's capital has its first indoor, air-conditioned amusement park to feature a vast array of the best and most advanced state-of-the-art video games and thrill rides. The brand-new, totally interactive MaxFlight FS2000 Two-seat Dogfight Flight Simulator is prominently displayed, anchoring the high-tech lineup.
Located in the Arkadia Mall, Fun Planet envelopes two floors totaling 4500 square meters, and is divided into five main sections with several specialized areas including: a kid's zone, a thrill zone, an arcade zone, a redemption area and a food court. Geared for the family with birthday party rooms, and situated so parents can shop in the mall while the children enjoy all the features, Fun Planet also caters to older teens and adults, offering sophisticated excitement and action.
"Visitors' reaction to the FS2000 has been very positive," says Mohamed Ashraf El Banna, General Manager of Fun Planet. "We chose the MaxFlight Flight Simulator because of the two-seat capacity. The futuristic theme is perfect for Fun Planet's atmosphere," says Mr. Banna. "We also like that both riders fully interact, which many guests have enthusiastically commented on."
Fun Planet is a truly international affair. It is owned and managed by ECETA, the Egyptian Company for Entertainment and Tourist Attraction, which specializes in developing and managing entertainment centers and amusement parks. Forrec, a Canadian company, renowned for amusement park design, has brought a wonderfully unique concept to the heart of Cairo. And with the World's best games and rides, coupled with a superbly trained staff that gives an air of professional confidence and hospitality, Fun Planet is the match of amusement centers anywhere on the globe.
The MaxFlight FS2000 Flight Simulator lets a pilot and gunner careen through a daring mission, selecting targets and avoiding obstacles. Each and every movement of the joystick is actually created by MaxFlight’s one-of-a-kind 360-degree movement in two different directions. The loops, spins and nose-dives viewed on the huge 58 inch screen are all genuine, and both crowds and revenue are generated as the slick silver capsule is lifted 12 feet into the air to begin its full-motion twists, banks and spirals. MaxFlight, a New Jersey based creator of compact, big attraction simulators, has found success on every continent, in nearly two dozen different countries.
MaxFlight (http://www.maxflight.com), a Lakewood, New Jersey-based Corporation with products placed around the planet, is a privately held Company. MaxFlight Corporation designs, manufactures and sells Interactive Ride Systems for the entertainment industry.
